LOWER ZONE CREATIVE ARTS CURRICULUM

At lower zone, our students introduced to Elements in arts such as Color: primary, secondary, tertiary, Value, Texture, Form and dimensions, Line and shape. It also involves the Study of artists. Creative arts exposes students to:

  • Use of a variety of media
  • Art principles
  • Unity
  • Emphasis
  • Balance
  • Variety
  • Movement and proportion
  • Art history and evaluation
  • Underlying steady beat of rhyme & song
  • Recorded musical selections

It also involves them in sequencing movement with a partner or group in beginning folk dances, movement with objects to a steady beat and creative expression in movement.

UPPER ZONE CREATIVE ARTS CURRICULUM

As for our upper zone students, they are introduced to Elements in arts such as:

  • Art principles and element
  • Expression through art materials and tools
  • Design, development, and creation of original artworks
  • Use of a variety of media
  • Art history
  • Exploring art and artists through visuals and visitations
  • Evaluating artwork (students and major artists)
  • Moving the body in integrated ways in folk dances
  • Reading and notating simple and complex rhythm patterns
