LOWER ZONE GEOGRAPHY CURRICULUM
Geography, the study of our home and the Earth, opens the door to the elementary curriculum. As for Geography curriculum, our students are exposed to the world’s continents, countries and capital cities, national flags and anthems. They also learn about Physical geography which covers the formation of the universe and earth, the emergence of oceans and atmosphere and the evolution of The Earth. The curriculum covers:
- Earth studies, Land and water forms
- Biomes
- Sun, moon, planets
- Clouds and atmospheres
- Volcanoes, Rocks and minerals
- Political, Flags, Countries, States and Capitals
- Maps, globes, and graphs
UPPER ZONE GEOGRAPHY CURRICULUM
Our students in upper zone are exposed to more in-depth learning of the formation of the universe and the composition of the earth. They research further on the nature of the elements, studies about sun and the earth, analyse work of the air and water. The curriculum covers:
- Earth science – Solar system
- Weather
- Astronomy
- Oceanography
- Geology and mineralogy
